The Pink Jerusalem

$99.95

Sourced from a fig collector in South Australia some years ago this is quite the rare fig.

I have not been able to find out much about this particular species but I am sure it’s linked to the town or region of its namesake. The provenance of its journey to Australia is still unknown but my research on Israeli Figs suggests it may have arrived with the European influx into Australia after the Second World War

I can tell you it is a sweet honey fig and fruits early in the season. A slow grower but a great addition to any collection and appears to be a favourite of the local ants!
